Sanford, FL (December 18, 2024): Sanford Police have arrested Angel Joseph Davis (D.O.B 07/30/2002), for Indecent Exposure of Sexual Organs.
On December 17, 2024, officers responded to reports of a prowler that was observed looking into a home and exposing themselves in the area of 20th Street and Mellonville Avenue. Last night’s incident may be linked to prior reports of prowling, which did not involve the exposure of a sexual organ.
On December 18, 2024, Investigators took Davis into custody without incident, after their investigation identified him as the suspect in one or more of the incidents.
Regarding the incident, Deputy Chief Trekelle Perkins stated, “We are relieved to announce this arrest. We want our community to feel safe in their homes as we prepare for holiday celebrations. Thank you to our citizens that had surveillance cameras, and quickly came forward to help us identify, and remove this predator from our community.”
This investigation is ongoing as additional incidents and their possible connection are investigated. Additional criminal charges and/or suspect(s) could be forthcoming.
